Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson stood between middleweight fighters Caleb Truax, of Osseo and Ossie Duran, a native of Ghana living in Paterson, N.J., at a news conference Thursday at the Pourhouse in downtown Minneapolis.
The fighters were promoting the season debut of ESPN's "Friday Night Fights" at Target Center.
Truax, 30, has won five fights in a row since a loss in April 2012 and is looking forward to the fight against Duran, with Tyson expected ringside.
"It means a lot to be fighting at home in front of family and friends," Truax said, according to ESPN.com.
The main event Friday will feature Argenis Mendez vs. Rances Barthelemy.
