A fuel truck rolled over with a full load in central Minnesota before dawn Friday, killing the driver and leaving the cab separated from the leaking tank and ablaze, authorities said.

The crash occurred about 5:25 a.m. on County Road 21, less than 4 miles north of Browerville, according to the Todd County Sheriff's Office.

The driver's identity has yet to be released. He worked for Jack's Oil Distributing in Eden Valley, Minn., the Sheriff's Office said.

According to the Sheriff's Office:

The truck was heading north on County Road 21, when it veered to the left and rolled over. The cab became unattached and caught fire, while the tank started losing fuel.

First responders stemmed the leak and put down gravel to block the fuel on the ground from reaching a culvert.

Jack's Oil was founded in 1976 and has a fleet of 16 trucks serving homes and businesses throughout central Minnesota, its website reads.
