Severe Threat Peaks Evening Hours (Tornado Watch until 9 pm; includes MSP metro)

Tennis Ball Size Hail. 3" diameter hail was reported near London, north of Willmar, at 4:35 PM. These storms are pushing southeast, and should impact the MSP metro between 6:30 PM and 8 PM.
A Swarm Of Storms. NWS Doppler radar at 5:56 PM shows a particularly severe storm north of Willmar, moving toward Litchfield. This severe storm may enter the Twin Cities metro by 6:30 PM. A squall line of strong/severe storms extends from Mora westward to Brainerd and Alexandria. Here's the latest on the Severe Storm Warning near Willmar:
