TV picks for June 27:  "The Out List,” "The Brokaw Files,” Sean Connery

Yep, they’re gay

Neil Patrick Harris, Ellen DeGeneres, Cynthia Nixon and Wanda Sykes are among the celebrities talking about what it’s like to be openly gay in Hollywood during “The Out List” (8:30 p.m., HBO).

Reeling in the years

Few journalists have gone into semi-retirement better than Tom Brokaw. He’s obviously enjoying a longer fly-fishing season, while occasionally popping up in retrospective specials like this edition of “The Brokaw Files” (9 p.m., Military), which revisits his interview with Ronald Reagan, conducted two days before the 40th president left the White House.

Shaken, not stirring

I admire TCM for throwing a Sean Connery tribute that avoids any Bond movies, but I wish its selection were a little more inviting. Only “Robin and Marian” (10 p.m., TCM) is worth recommending, if only for the seasoned chemistry between Connery and Audrey Hepburn.
