Tornado Watch Far Southwestern Minnesota. SPC has issued a Tor Watch until 2 am Thursday morning; the severe storms pushing across Nebraska are forecast to rotate northeastward, impacting western Iowa and southwest Minnesota late tonight; a few could still be strong enough to spin up a tornado.
Serious Case Of The Muggies. The showers and thundershowers that rumbled across the metro around 3-5 pm moistened up the low layers of the atmosphere; dew points are closing in on 70F, some serious humidity out there. Heavy rain continues over southeastern Minnesota, but the severe threat is east of La Crosse. You can also see the aerial outline of the Tornado Watch for southwestern Minnesota.
