ST. CHARLES, Minn. - Authorities say one person was found dead in a motel fire in St. Charles.

Firefighters were called to Downtown Motel about 11 p.m. Thursday. Crews found flames shooting from the roof and out a window. Officials say one person was found dead, four others in the motel escaped.

KAAL-TV ( http://bit.ly/TY50zL) reports the Red Cross provided assistance to those who escaped the fire.
