RandBall: How's that Darko experiment working out in Boston?

About a month ago, ESPN ran a story about Darko Milicic's most recent do-over. This time, it was with the Celtics. And this time, again, it was going to be different than the rest.
"He's never been around a team like this. He's never been around guys like this," Kevin Garnett said. "He's never been in a situation where there is so much energy and encouragement."
And this from Doc Rivers: "I tell him every day, 'You're no longer Darko. You're a Celtic. And one day, we asked him what his name was and he said, 'Celtic.' And everyone just started laughing. All I'm trying to do is get him to forget about trying to be something he isn't -- and just be someone for the team."
Darko had a mild wrist sprain in the middle of October, but other than that we can't find any health problems.
As such, how is he doing so far?
Call it a work in progress. He has appeared in one of three games for the 1-2 Celtics, playing five minutes (with no points and two turnovers) in that lone appearance. The other two games? Listed as the dreaded Did Not Play -- Coach's Decision.
But he is wearing No. 99, so that's kind of awesome.
