TMZ.com is reporting that Donovan McNabb "has inked a deal to join the NFL Network as a broadcaster."
This comes one year after he inked that ill-fated deal to be Christian Ponder's mentor as the Vikings quarterback and didn't make it through half of the 2011 season before the team decided it may as well turn things over to the rookie. He lasted six games and the Vikings won one of them.
McNabb's agent told TMZ that broadcasting "is something that he is going to devote 100 percent of his attention to."
Then, however, the agent went on to talk about how McNabb has "some other interests" that he'd like to pursue.
We'll let you figure out whether McNabb will be able to give 110 percent, or whatever it takes, to be successful in everything he wants to pursue now that the tackling has ended.
NFL.com is reporting that McNabb will be part of the former-player crew on the NFL Network's Playbook, which airs on Fridays at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Here's the TMZ.com story.
