The body of a person who had been reported missing was found in a lake northwest of the Twin Cities on Friday night.
At about 4 p.m. Friday, police were alerted to a missing person who lived near Rice Lake in Eden Lake Township, according to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office. The person was last seen Thursday night riding an ATV.
During the search, police located the victim and the ATV in open water on the west side of the lake.
The victim's name has not yet been released. The ATV has not yet been removed from the lake.
