Kline goes 814 for 814 in U.S. House

That puts him in the same company as U.S. Sen. Al Franken, the Minnesota Democrat who has never missed a vote since his recount victory in 2009.
On other side of the ledger is Rep. Michele Bachmann, who has managed to miss 26 percent of this year’s roll-call votes as she vies for the GOP presidential nomination. That places her third among 18 members of the House have missed more than 10 percent of the 814 votes held so far this year.
Most of the absences were because of illness or injury, such as Arizona Democrat Gabrielle Giffords, who was shot on Jan. 8. Also making the New York Times list was Minnesota Democrat Keith Ellison, who injured his knee falling from a treadmill in the House gym this year and missed 11.3 percent of House votes.
