MICHAEL GOTZSCHE Minneapolis

About his performance Saturday: "You always would have liked to have done better after you finish. It was a little windy biking [40K], and I had a little trouble there. I had a pretty good swim, but I think it caught up with me later in the race."
Why he got into the sport: "I used to do a lot of running and started having injury problems, so I started biking and swimming. I got involved in triathlons [in the 1980s] once I started cross-training."
