Same-sex marriage is almost Minnesota law.
At noon, the Minnesota Senate is planning to take up the measure to legalize marriage between gay couples, following the House's 75-59 vote on Thursday.
If the Senate passes it, as expected, that would send the bill to Gov. Mark Dayton. He is likely to sign it into law on Tuesday paving the way for gay marriage legalization starting on Aug. 1, 2013.
The Star Tribune is planning to live stream the debate, as well as blog it and tweet highlights. Check the Hot Dish blog and Morning Hot Dish newsletter for further details.
