ST. PAUL, Minn. - Just back from a lengthy foreign trip, Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty is working some domestic travel and political fundraising into his agenda.
A spokesman for Pawlenty's political activities says the two-term Republican was headed Tuesday for the Nashville, Tenn., area and Cincinnati, Ohio. Pawlenty had planned to raise money for GOP gubernatorial nominee Scott Walker on Monday night but plane problems kept him back.
Pawlenty has traveled frequently this year to assist GOP candidates and to become better known ahead of an increasingly likely run for president in 2012.
Over the weekend, he returned from a weeklong trade mission to Asia.
