There's an I in Tim and two in politics and one at the start of both of the states Gov. Tim Pawlenty will visit this weekend.
He will raise money for the Lake County Republicans in Illinois Friday night at a $100 a plate fundraiser. Invitees were welcomed to contribute up to $10,000.
Saturday afternoon, Pawlenty will touch down in Iowa, his second visit to that early voting state in the last several months, to speak to the Iowans for Tax Relief's "2010 Iowa Taxpayers Day" gathering in Des Moines.
No signs that he's got visits planned to either Indiana or Idaho this weekend but reporters don't always find out in advance about his out-of-state trips so maybe he'll complete the quartet soon.
