Target critics, be grateful our state has such a corporation.

Chill, please! Target is one of Minnesota's finest corporate citizens!

It opened early on Thursday and is open today on Black Friday. So what?

Instead of complaining, think for just a moment. Target pays a great deal in corporate taxes, collects hundreds of thousands each month in sales taxes for the state (at company expense and with no compensation), provides millions in charitable giving, and employs thousands of Minnesotans, giving them great pay and benefits.

Besides, employees will get extra pay if they worked yesterday and today.

Just be thankful that Target is headquartered in Minnesota and that it does so much for our state.
