Dunn (Anderson), Corene Ann Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 25th, with her husband, daughter, and son at her bedside. She passed at age 69, less than 3 weeks after being diagnosed with cancer.

She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sibling, aunt, in-law and friend and will be missed by all who knew her kind and loving heart. She is survived by Dick, her husband of 43 years; Daughter Katie Holmgren, husband Steve; Son Patrick, wife Alyssa, grandchildren Brynn and Colton; siblings Gary (Sharon); Gene (Laural); Carole (Jim); Connie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Richard, Betty, Morris, and Peggy.

Corene was born on April 23, 1950, in Minot, North Dakota to Clarence and Margaret Viola Anderson. She grew up on the family farm in Russell, North Dakota, and was raised in the Methodist church. She graduated from Newburg High School, and attended the University of North Dakota, graduating with a degree in Business Administration with a finance major. She worked in finance for several years, most recently with Egan & Sons.

Corene and Dick were married on May 8th, 1976, at Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church. In 1983 she brought their daughter, Katie, into the world; and then son Patrick in 1985. Her family became the center of her universe. She gave up her career when her children were in grade school, and devoted her life to creating the best possible environment and experience for her children and grandchildren. We will miss her smile, her laughter, and her generous spirit.

In accordance with her wishes, Corene was cremated. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 6th at Plymouth Covenant Church, 4300 Vicksburg Lane North, Plymouth, MN 55446. Social time at 10:15 AM; service at 11:00; luncheon and fellowship to follow.
