Kinkel, William E. "Bill" Age 88 of Minneapolis and Champlin, passed away November 11th 2019 on Veterans Day surrounded by the love of his Wife Janet, his Children, Family and his Dog Tazzy. Preceded in death by his parents William & Gertrude, Sister, Shirley & Brothers, Ronald & Gary. Survived by his Wife of 61 years Janet, his Children Dawn (Jerry) Todd (Cindy) and Julia (Mark), Grandchildren, Erik, Michael, Katie, Mallory, Matt, Kelly and Paul. Brother Donald (Barbara) & Sisters Beryl & Suzanne (John), and many Nieces, Nephews and friends. Bill was a loving husband, father, brother and friend who would be there to help anyone in need and his spirit will live on to those who knew him. Bill grew up in Minneapolis, enlisted in the Air Force and served during the Korean War 1951-1957. He was An Airman First Class and was a lifelong Proud Member of the Fridley American Legion, the Minneapolis Commodores and the Forty & Eight Organization. A Celebration of Bill's life will be held at the Fridley American Legion Post 303, 7365 Central Ave N.E. Fridley Mn 55432, Saturday November 23rd anytime between 1 pm to 4 pm. (763) 784-9824. In lieu of Flowers the family asks that memorials go to the Honor Flight Twin Cities or to Second Hand Hounds. The Family would like to thank Brookdale Hospice and the staff of Champlin Shores who helped Dad's final journey to end in love, peace and dignity. Private Interment November 25th Fort Snelling.
