Kerr, Ann Wicklund Ann Kerr, age 80, of Woodbury, MN passed away July 4, 2019. Preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Wicklund; parents, Andrew and Ardis Anderson; and brother, Lowell Anderson. Survived by husband of 37 years, John; sons, Bradley Wicklund (Barbara) and Mark Wicklund (Amy); grandchildren, Amanda, Tyler, and Henry; sister, Marion Anderson; and several nieces and nephews. Ann grew up on a farm near Hallock, Minnesota, and moved to the Twin Cities after high school to complete three years of training to become a Registered Nurse. She worked as an RN off and on for much of her life, but always part-time; in order to prioritize her role as a wife and mother. She also worked as a designer in a craft store, helping people decorate their homes with a keen, creative eye. Ann's talent for interior decorating and artistic expression was a source of joy for her, and was in evidence in both her home and cabin. Ann became a Christian as a young girl, and remained deeply committed to her faith throughout her life. In addition to Jesus Christ, Ann's family was of paramount importance to her. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. A beautiful person both inside and out, Ann was caring, giving, gracious, and unselfish. To sit at her dining room table was to be waited on, to be supported, and to receive true Christian kindness and love. A memorial service will be held at Rockpoint Church (5825 Kelvin Ave. N., Lake Elmo, MN 55042) at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, gifts to the Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities, and/or World Vision, are encouraged. Similarly, please direct memorial gifts to those charities.
