Field, David Thomas age 72, died peacefully on June 8, 2019 in St. Paul, MN. Born in Edina, MN, on Sept. 19, 1946, David spent most of his life in Minnesota, residing in Edina. He was a graduate of UMD and served honorably in the US Army in the AMEDD Branch Core (1968 1974). David was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He loved and embraced all Minnesota seasons, especially spending time outdoors. He cherished his children, family and friends. His many accomplishments included climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, growing the family business; Heritage of Edina and writing and reciting his poetry. He enjoyed music, dancing, cinema, skiing and had an appreciation for fine food and art. He is preceded in death by his parents, Phyllis (Field) Bump and Wayne Field. He is survived by his children; Jonathan Stanley Alexander Field, and Kathryn Lydia Thora (Field) Derheim, son-in-law; Lucas Adam Derheim, treasured grandson; Oliver Harry Derheim, former wife; Diane Ellen Field and siblings; Dale Field, Terry (Field) Cino, Dana Jo Field, Chaz Field, Craig Field, Cherrie (Field) Zitzlsperger and Ted Field.
