Finneman, Joseph Ambrose (AMBY) Age 90, a long-time resident of Brooklyn Center, MN. Passed away peacefully on March 16, 2019, Ambrose was born 9/9/1928, in Eden Valley MN. and raised in Watkins MN., with three brothers and eight sisters. He served in the Army during the Korean war years. He worked hard as a Cement Mason for many years, taking pride in the perfection of the craft. Upon retirement, he spent time with his dogs, biking and was an avid walker. He enjoyed taking care of his yard, constructing brick and rock designs for decorative purpose, listening to old country western music and was always willing to help his family when called upon. Preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Gloria. Those left here to honor his life are his three children, Roxane Babcock, David (Jaye) Finneman, Patti (David) Magill; four grandchildren, Justin Babcock, Jeremy (Lindsay) Finneman, Amanda (Jon) Cameron, Lindsey (Eric) Feld; six great grandchildren, Jackson and Jane Richardson, Whitney, Tyler and Travis Finneman and Heidi Feld. A heartfelt thank you to all the fine folks at Good Samaritan Society Robbinsdale, for treating Ambrose with respect and dignity during his final journey. Also, a special thanks to all the fine people of the Allina Hospice team and VA staff for their excellent care and support. A family memorial service will be planned later.
