Houston, John C. Age, 81 of Burnsville, MN. Passed away February 14, 2019. John graduated from Wheaton High School in 1955. The superintendent of schools met with his parents, and told them to not waste money sending John to college. John graduated with a Master's degree with honors in civil engineering in 1962. He worked for the Federal Bureau of Public Roads until 1971 when he moved his family to MN and started Houston Engineering. Other business ventures included; Land Development, Property Mgmt, General Contracting and Aviation. He more than anything loved and cared deeply for his family. John was a wonderful story teller; he will live on in our memories through his rich & humorous stories. Preceded in death by wife, Carol; parents, Howard and Thelma; brother, Richard. Survived by children, Mark (Lisa), Kristi (Gary) Johnson and Michael (Kathy); grandchildren, Michael Johnson, Janel Houston, Laura Johnson, Jonathan Houston and Jacquelynn Houston; and brother, George (Anne-Marie) and many other relatives and good friends. Private family service will be held.
