The Twin Cities' first significant snow of the season is expected to start falling between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., just as polls are closing. Bad weather has been known to suppress voter turnout in Minnesota elections, and while that's unlikely this time, it still might help to dress for something wet, slippery and cold, on the off chance there's a line of last-minute voters out the door.
Three to 5 inches are expected overnight.
