As told by Chris Daleiden of Edina:
"I was pitching a Shad Rap in 8 feet of water on Basswood lake in the BWCA with Shannon Sweeney from Waconia when this hog of a largemouth bass hit. We did not have a scale in the boat to determine its weight, but it measured 22 inches, which would put it over 6 pounds. I released it. We caught plenty of other fish species on the trip (including nice northerns, crappies, smallmouth bass, and walleye), but this was the only largemouth that either of us caught in our three days of BWCA camping and fishing.''
