A 39-year-old man with a lengthy criminal record has been arrested and booked with probable cause murder in the slaying of Travis Washington of Minneapolis, who was shot to death in his North Side home Thursday night.

Washington, 30, was the 11th person killed in Minneapolis this year. Detectives said two suspects fled the scene shortly after witnesses heard gunshots from inside the house, located in the 3500 block of Knox Avenue N., near Folwell Park.

Authorities have not released a possible motive for the crime.

The suspect arrested Sunday has been convicted of crimes including assault, receiving stolen propery and possession of illegal drugs, court records show.
