The Vikings will practice twice during their bye week, before sending players home for some time off, and will have another practice the Monday after the bye.

It's at that point the Vikings could decide whether to put Teddy Bridgewater on their active roster in time for their Nov. 12 game against Washington, and Zimmer said after the game he hopes to "have a decision to make."

Sam Bradford started the season at quarterback for the Vikings but injured his knee during the victory over New Orleans. Except for most of the first half of a game against the Bears earlier this month, Case Keenum has been the starter.

"I don't know that yet," Zimmer said about whether he'll have to choose among Keenum, Bridgewater and Sam Bradford. "We'll sit down and we'll evaluate everything. Case has done an unbelievable job. He's done what we've asked him to do; he's come out and kept things rolling.

"We'll figure it out as we go. We'll see. I hope I have to make a decision."
