A partly clothed man was found dead Thursday near a residential alley in New Ulm.
The man's body was discovered shortly after 7 a.m. on the 500 block of N. Washington Street. The man was not wearing his shirt or jacket, which were found nearby, said New Ulm Cmdr. Dave Borchert.
Authorities have not determined the man's name or cause of death. Residents of the nearby home said the body was not there when they arrived home at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting with the investigation.
