The action at U.S. Bank Stadium this summer will be on the outside as well as the inside.
Beginning next week, stadium operator SMG plans four free Thursday evening concerts on the plaza.
First up is Tim Mahoney, on May 18. Chris Hawkey is scheduled to play May 25, followed by Kat Perkins on June 1 and G.B. Leighton on June 8.
The party begins at 4:30 p.m. and goes until 8 p.m. each week on the stadium's Downtown East plaza, 425 Park Av. The plaza is just west of the stadium.
The events are free and tickets aren't needed.
In addition to the music, food, drinks and lawn games will be available. SMG describes the events as family friendly.
