Midwest Renewable Energy Tracking System named Benjamin Gerber executive director. Gerber was director of energy and labor/management policy at the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce. He worked for Fredrikson & Byron and is on the board of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas.

Landmark Environmental, Bloomington, named Sherry Van Duyn president. Van Duyn was vice president since 2000 and is a founding member. She is a member of the University of Minnesota Civil, Environmental and Geo Engineering Department's professional advisory board.

Allete Inc., Duluth, named Patrick Cutshall treasurer effective in January. Cutshall joined Allete in 1989 as a financial analyst and most recently was director of investments and tax. He is a director and treasurer for the Depot Foundation and the Paul Staudenmaier Boys and Girls Club of Duluth Foundation.

Knutson Construction also named Greg Ball and John Watkins superintendents and Jens Frederickson project manager.
