Achieve Services, a Blaine nonprofit business, has launched Achieve Clean Laundry Detergent in participation with Lube-Tech to generate more employment for people with disabilities and to generate increased revenue.

"The product is made for us by Lubrication Technologies and we bottle it, label it, and distribute it, currently working at Lube-Tech's' facility in Albertville," said Alex Carlson, the business developer at Achieve Services, who adds that Lube Tech is a great community partner. "We will be doing the work at a new facility in Fridley that we are leasing starting in April.

"Our goal is to produce 1,000 bottles per month, every month this year with sales that match production. Our ultimate goal is to sell enough bottles of detergent to offset [expected] upcoming cuts to our funding at the state and federal level."

The formula for Achieve Clean was developed by Golden Valley-based Lube Tech. It is made from all-natural ingredients and without scents or dyes.
