Two Minneapolis Police officers were taken to the hospital early Sunday morning after they were hit by another vehicle.
About 2:20 a.m., the officers were responding to an emergency call when they were hit broadside near the intersection of Portland Ave. and Washington Ave. in downtown Minneapolis, according to police.
Both officers sustained noncritical injuries and were transported to a hospital by ambulance.
The driver was chemically tested and released, according to police.
