The Eagan Theater Company will present its annual "A Christmas Carol Radio Play" on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 19-20. Performances are at 7 p.m. both evenings at Woodcrest Church, 525 Cliff Road, Eagan.

Advance tickets are $10 on the website www.etc-mn.org. Tickets also will be available at the door for $14. Prices include desserts by Baking Memories Caterers.

The setting is a 1940s radio station. Six actors in Forties apparel play 32 roles before images from Dickensian London. Sound effects are live, and created so that the audience can see how they are done.

The performance includes ad jingles from the Forties, so as to showcase a broadcast-live show.

There are Christmas carols before and during the performance, from local singers, including members of Eagan Women of Note.

The Eagan Theater Company was founded in 2011 as a nonprofit with the goal to "ignite imaginations and encourage participation by producing high quality theatrical performances that appeal to a wide range of community interests."
