A motorcyclist crashed shortly after dark this weekend on a road close to the Mall of America, and the rider died on the way to the hospital, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 8:25 p.m. Friday on Ikea Way, just north of Lindau Lane, according to the Hennepin County medical examiner's office. That's just north of the Mall of America.
Killed was Cesar I. Canton, 33, of Minneapolis, the medical examiner's office said.
