A woman who appeared to have been assaulted was found lying injured by the side of a road Sunday, the Prior Lake Police Department reported.
Authorities said there is no indication that the attack was random and investigators do not believe there is a broader danger to the public.
The unidentified woman was found in the 6000 block of 140th St. about 10 a.m. Sunday. She was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
