At the age of 14 months, Frank Nameny V was ready for his first haircut. "He's got all this craziness going on [with his hair]. It's time," said dad Frank Nameny IV. Dad distracted his son with a Slinky while hairstylist Jody Gacek snipped away at Kids Hair in Roseville. Mom Heather chipped in with a rubber duckie. Frank IV wanted to be there for his son's first haircut. He took the first snip and saved a clipping. He fondly remembers his own father taking him to the barbershop, a ritual often followed by a trip for an ice cream cone.
