Two people were killed and three were injured Friday night and early Saturday morning in separate shooting incidents in north Minneapolis, a police spokesman said.

Around midnight, police said three men were shot, one fatally, at a house in the 3400 block of Dupont Av. N. in Minneapolis.

According to police, Minneapolis officers responded to a "shots fired" call around midnight. The man who died was found inside the home. Police said the other two victims were taken to North Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Later in a separate incidient, police said they responded to a call where they found a woman dead and another woman seriously injured in the 2600 block of N. 3rd St. Police said that when they arrived around 5 a.m.,they found both women had gunshot wounds.
