Authorities on Monday identified the man who was shot to death last week in the street in a residential area of north Minneapolis.
Geray C. Campbell, 35, of St. Paul, was shot several times, according to the Hennepin County medical examiner's office.
Police have announced no arrests, nor has a motive been addressed.
Campbell was shot shortly before 11 p.m. Friday in the 3700 block of Girard Avenue N., just east of Folwell Park, according to police.
Officers found him lying dead in the street.
Police said the shooting was preceded by an altercation.
