A police apprehension following a St. Paul bank robbery choked traffic on Interstate 94 in Minneapolis briefly Thursday night.
Several police cars blocked traffic starting around 7:30 p.m. on westbound I-94 near Cedar Avenue. During a traffic stop on the highway, arrests were made in relation to a robbery of the TCF Bank in the 1900 block of Suburban Avenue on St. Paul's East Side, according to St. Paul police. It's unclear how many people were arrested.
Nobody was injured.
Police were clearing the scene around 8 p.m.
The FBI is leading the investigation.
