Work on power poles and transmission lines will close parts of Alimagnet Park in Burnsville beginning this week, the city says.
The Alimagnet Dog Park, softball and soccer fields, all trails and some parking lots will close at times over a two-week period because of work being done by Xcel Energy.
Work starts Monday and lasts until April 4. Hours of work are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
Cross-country ski and other trails close starting Monday.
The dog park, softball fields A, B and C, soccer field, picnic shelter area, and north and east parking lots close at midweek.
Officials say signs and barricades will be in place.
