A man’s body was found in his apartment in west-central Minnesota in what authorities are calling a suspicious death.
The body of Thomas Dickson, 64, of Montevideo, was discovered about 10:10 p.m. Monday in his downtown apartment above an auto repair shop in the 100 block of Canyon Avenue, according to police in Montevideo.
Authorities, including the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, have yet to say what led to the man’s death or whether there have been any arrests.
They did say, however, that there is no risk to the general public in connection with the death.
Police Chief Adam Christopher said Thursday that he hopes to have more to say about the case later in the day.
Dickson’s body has been turned over to the Ramsey County medical examiner’s office for further investigation.
Anyone with information about Dickson’s death is urged to call police at 1-320-269-8808.
