A 35-year-old Waite Park man died early Thursday in a three-car crash in Benton County when he failed to yield for a stop sign.

Ahmed Abdulle was driving a Ford Escape south on Hwy. 10 when he went through a stop sign and was struck by another car in the intersection with County Road 33. He was spun into the northbound lane and struck by a third vehicle.

Hussein Sabriye, a passenger in Abdulle’s car, was not injured. Drivers in the two other vehicles suffered injuries that weren’t life threatening, according to the State Patrol.

The patrol’s report said road conditions were good.
