MADISON, Wis. - Thousands of people are lined up waiting to get into a rally with President Barack Obama and rocker Bruce Springsteen near the Capitol in Madison.

The stage for the rally is a block south of the Capitol, with its back to the city-county building facing the municipal building.

Air Force One landed at Dane County Regional Airport about 3 a.m. Monday in advance of the president's campaign appearance.

The appearance marks the third time in five days that Obama has campaigned in Wisconsin leading up to Tuesday's election. He was in Milwaukee on Saturday and Green Bay on Thursday.

Obama moves on to Columbus, Ohio and Des Moines, Iowa. Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will also be in Columbus, Ohio Monday, along with Florida, Virginia and New Hampshire.
