In the Nov. 10 newspaper, I learned that Gen. David Petraeus will resign from his position as director of the CIA as a result of an extramarital affair. I also learned on Page B5 that a priest who sexually abused children "will remain a priest, but cannot perform any duties of the church." Suddenly the decline of American morality makes sense. Fortunately, even though the church is failing to model integrity and accountability in leadership, we can look to government agencies like the CIA to model values.LAURA NICHOLS, WOODBURY
