A view from on high

Those looking for wholesome entertainment can catch a 1975 episode of “The Waltons” (7 p.m. Hallmark) and then watch Henry Fonda in 1963’s “Spencer’s Mountain” (9 p.m. TCM). What’s the connection? The adventures of John Boy and company were based on the movie, which features great footage of the Grand Tetons.

Beer for their horses

Raise a glass to “Dark Horse Nation,” a new 12-episode series that takes you behind the scenes of a microbrewery in small-town Michigan. The employees include “Cabe,” “Wiggs,” “Wacky Morse” and “Chappy.” In other words, it sounds like the team is enjoying their own product. 9 p.m. History

Grande surprise

Nathan Fielder made hilarious headlines this past February when he converted a struggling coffee house into “Dumb Starbucks” and drew lines around the block. See how he pulled off the stunt on a new episode of “Nathan for You,” which shows off all the sputtering-hot details. 9:30 p.m. Comedy Central
