Hitting the road

“Parks and Recreation” (7:30 p.m., KARE, Ch. 11) may be coming back for a seventh season, but it’ll be without Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe, who wave goodbye in what should be an emotionally charged episode. I’m sure the show can continue to shine without Lowe, but it’s hard to imagine the series without Jones around to keep recent Golden Globe winner Amy Poehler grounded.

Here, kid. Catch!

The NFL throws its advertisers a bone by airing “Super Bowl Commercials” (8 p.m., NFL). This means yet another spotlight on Mean Joe Greene’s 1979 Coke commercial, which still gets to me every time.

The good ol’ days

“Dick Van Dyke Show” creator Carl Reiner stops by “Two and a Half Men” (8:31 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4) and astonishes stars Jon Cryer and Ashton Kutcher with tales of doing a sitcom without resorting to tasteless, vulgar humor.
