"The Force Awakens" director J.J. Abrams will never completely sever ties with TV or ol'-fashioned suspense. Both come into play in the Abrams-executive-produced Hulu miniseries "11.22.63," based on a Stephen King novel in which a history teacher has a chance to go back in time and stop President John F. Kennedy's assassination. So what is Abrams' favorite "King thing"?

Neal Justin

"I've been a fan of Stephen King since junior high school. 'The Dead Zone' was my favorite. It felt like kind of a sister project to this one. I got to know Stephen during the experience with 'Lost.' We went to this family-style restaurant together and then we went to see 'The Descent,' which was very scary and very gruesome. And every time someone died horribly on screen, he would cheer."
