Mergers and acquisitions involving Minnesota companies that were announced in the past week.

10/30 Hotel Minneapolis Chesapeake Lodging Trust Chesapeake Lodging Trust acquired the Hotel Minneapolis for Minneapolis Annapolis, Md. $46 million and reached an agreement for the hotel to be managed by its current operator. The hotel will continue its affiliation with Marriott under the Autograph Collection.
 
10/30 Comfort Suites hotel Hyatt Hotels Corp. Hyatt Hotels has acquired the Comfort Suites hotel in downtown Minneapolis Chicago Minneapolis, which will be renovated and rebranded as the Hyatt Place Minneapolis Downtown.
 
10/31 UnitedHealthcare WellCare Health Plans Inc. WellCare Health Plans will acquire UnitedHealthcare's Medicaid Medicaid business Tampa business in South Carolina from Minnetonka-based UnitedHealth Group.
 
10/31 WorldMate Inc. Carlson Wagonlit Travel Inc. Carlson Wagonlit Travel acquired WorldMate, a provider of Milpitas, Calif. Minnetonka itinerary management systems and on-the-road services for travelers.

11/1 Spanner Temporary SRS Medical Inc. SRS Medical has acquired the Spanner Temporary Prostatic Prostatic Stent Billerica, Mass. Stent from AbbeyMoor Medical, Parkers Prairie, Minn.
