This is a beauty, believe me. The jet stream is showing a lot of northwardamplification over the eastern half of the United States which is ideal forgetting warm air north. Temperatures are already hitting the 80s through thesouthern Plains, and that delightful air mass will expand across the Midwestand Ohio Valley Wednesday. The warm weather will be a little slower to get into the East because of a bigstorm that is sitting off the coast. The storm will move away later Wednesday, however, and a full-fledged warm-up can be expected from Washington to BostonThursday.

The warm wave will continue in the East into Saturday, although a sea breezewill probably spoil things a bit along the New England coastline. Unless thereis a pretty good westerly wind, it's pretty tough for the New England coast toremain warm for long in April.
