When the Twins recalled lefthander Tommy Milone from Class AAA Rochester a month ago, it sure seems like they brought back an entirely different pitcher than the one they sent down. Milone was flat-out dominant in his one-month stint in the minors, going 4-0 in five starts with a 0.70 ERA and 47 strikeouts.

In his past four starts with the Twins — who probably just hoped he would be serviceable — Milone has been almost as good. In 26 innings, he's allowed just five earned runs while striking out 22 batters, going from being viewed as a stopgap to something more.

AS EXPECTED LeBron James opted out of his contract in Cleveland, but unless he's planning the biggest gut punch of all time, he will re-sign with the Cavs.

PUTTING IN WORK Karl-Anthony Towns made even more fans when he posted on Twitter (@KarlTowns) a video of his late-night workout Friday.
