A man was taken to a St. Paul hospital with a life-threatening gunshot wound at midday Friday after he was shot in the Dayton's Bluff neighborhood. Police say they have arrested a suspect.
Police spokesman Howie Padilla said the man was wounded just before 1 p.m. at the intersection of Cypress Street and Wakefield Avenue. The man was not inside a building when he was shot, Padilla said.
Another man has been arrested in the shooting, Padilla said. The shooting doesn't appear to be random.
