In 1953, a woman was photographed eating ice cream in Stillwater — in winter. She remains unidentified, but her cheery disposition made her an icon for an old-fashioned ice cream social that was a can't-wait event. On Jan. 17, from noon to 4 p.m., the Washington County Historical Society will revive the public event at Mulberry Point on the St. Croix riverfront.
